In 1977, Mr Kay graduated from Northeastern Bible College with a B.A. in Biblical Literature. He was then led by the Lord to Gordon-Conwell Theological Semianry, where he graduated in 1981 with an M. Div. degree with concentration in Old Testament Studies.
He was ordained by the Conservative Baptist Convention in 1982. He and his family have been involved with Messianic Judaism since the mid-1980's and have been Associate Members of the Messianic Jewish Alliance of America ( MJAA ), since 1992.He has served as the Congregational leader of Congregation Netzar Torah Yeshua in Concord, New Hampshire since it was founded in 1995. He retired in 2016 from leadership of the congregation, but continues to serve through this website and any offers to speak in congregations
